Welcome to Rustic Lodge Alpacas.
Alpaca farming provides an alternative lifestyle with a profitable return, once your initial herd is established and if you manage and market your business correctly. The rewards of farming these gentle creatures are plentiful. Alpacas can be farmed on small acreage consuming the same amount of feed as sheep per head and their fleece is pure luxury and in high demand on the international market. Current demands far exceed the amount of fleece being produced in Australia.
Although we have only been breedign Alpacas for 3 years ourselves, we are always happy to 'paca chat' with anyone who is interested in these beautiful creatures.
